تقييم درجة تطبيق معلمي التربية الخاصة في الأردن لاستراتيجيات تحليل السلوك التطبيقي في ضوء بعض المتغيرات

Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to examine special education teacher's application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

A scale with satisfactory content validity and internal consistency was constructed on (200) teachers of autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities who were chosen by the stratified random sample method from (27) public and private schools and special needs' centers in Amman.

The results showed that teachers possess a high level application of (ABA).

Furthermore, the results revealed no significant differences among teachers due to specialization, training, teaching experience and/or disability types.

The results also revealed significant differences among teachers due to qualification in favor of community college diploma and significant differences according to the category of institutes in favor of teachers in public schools and special education centers.

Based on these results, the study has recommended the need to provide further in-service training in ABA to practicing teachers as well as to special education students' teachers and focusing on the practical applications of ABA.
