أثر استخدام استراتيجية التعلم المعكوس (FLIPPED LEARNING)‎ على التحصيل الدراسي في مادة اللغة العربية و تنمية مهارات التعلم الذاتي لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي

Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the effect of using Flipped Learning strategy on academic achievement in the Arabic language and the development of self-learning skills among 10th-grade students using the Quasi-experimental approach.

The study sample consisted of (70) 10th-grade students in Al Kamalia School for girls of the Second Educational Directorate in Amman - University district for 2016/2017 academic year.

The study sample was divided into two experimental and control groups.

The students in the experimental group were taught according to the flipped learning strategy whereas the students in the control group were taught the traditional way.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, an achievement test was developed to measure the academic instructional level as well as a questionnaire to measure self- learning skills.

The results of the study indicated that the flipped learning strategy explicitly increases the level of educational attainment among students, and also raises the level of self-learning among them.

The results also indicated the impact of using the flipped learning in developing self –learning skills of the Arabic language for 10th-grade students.

The study recommended the need to use the flipped learning strategy in different areas of education.
