Abstract EN

This study aims to recognize the effect of women’s small funded business on empowering the rural Palestinian women economically.

the purpose of this study is to answer the main question about “the relationship between having funded project and economic empowerment for women”.

the researcher used social survey method, in which a questionnaire was developed as a tool to survey the views of women in the sample that was selected using simple random sampling out of rural palestinian women in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate who got their own funded projects.

the sample size was 142 which represented 15% of the study population.

the findings indicated that there is improvement in all fields which could contribute her to reach the stage of economic empowerment of rural women.

it also showed there are no statistical significant differences at (α≤0.05) between owning small funded project and woman’s economic empowerment related to their characteristics, except financial independence factor related to their (marital status) in favor of category (single).
