This paper addresses an important question concerning the role historical documents play in the process of history,By choosing the WILAYA 4 as a geographic space known as historical events during the period of the liberation revolution ;This is based on the archive of the Ground Army Service in the city of VINCENNES in PARIS .The problematic nature of this paper is mainly related to the nature of the documents in question.

Especially those related to the history of these WILAYA ? To what extent can these documents contribute to the writing of this WILAYA history .
