Abstract EN

Among the objectives of the corporate governance are the increase of the level of competitiveness and curbing corruption.

The governance were applied in Algeria with regard to public transactions which are likely to be associated with corruption.

Applying corporate governance on such types of administrative contracts cannot be effectively applied during implementation phase since deals might have already been set with a specific party.

The problem lies in the selection of such party the stages of public deals finalization process where there are many possibilities of corruption and malpractices.

The Algerian corporate governance plan has stated some governing rules and principles to control such things.

The plan has also introduced a new regulatory and judicial authority to ensure and regulate the corporate governance.
