The principle of freedom of association is of particular importance in unions’ legislation.

The right to unions is based on two axes: freedom of association and the exercise of the union’s right.

The enactment of the Algerian legislator of the right of union is one of the most important legal guarantees allowing workers and employers to form union organizations freely and without the authorization of the competent authorities, in order to defend their financial and moral interests.
