Two systems were studied; conventional which consisted of growbed and fish tank and the developed system which consisted of growbed and fish tank in addition to a suction pipe, fish waste separating barrel and a biofilter.
The two systems were operated from December 2017 until July 2018.
A number of related physical and chemical water quality parameter were measured during this period which include temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonium, nitrite and nitrate.
The results of the present study also showed that the highest growth rate, weight increase, relative growth rate and food conversion rate in developed system was increase compare with conventional system.
