The question of Maghreb economic integration is of paramount importance, rooted in the colonial period, effectively embodied in the Marrakesh Treaty of 1989, However, this Union has known its course of great turmoil, because the goals set by the Union and the agreements reached between its members have not come into force.

This paper has been dedicated to presenting the experiences of the Maghreb integration and its future prospects by addressing the historic march of Maghreb economic integration, Strategies for Maghreb economic integration.
