The applications of genetic engineering have affected, whether positively or negatively, on the criminal law.

That was under the lack of a legislation that deals with the violation of the genetic privacy and putting the required protection for that.

The nature of the topic under study necessitated the division into two inquiries, which are: into two inquiries: the first inquiry is about the concept of the considered interest and its relation to genetic privacy, while the second inquiry is devoted to the study of place of incrimination in the violation of genetic privacy.
