Abstract EN

During the second world war, the algerian national movement was aware of a significant collective activity and a deliberate impulse, which was embraced by several regions of Algeria.

It marked the beginning of the unification of the political demands directed at the french authority or others, namely the global forces directed at the war.The national consensus is divided between the association of muslim scholars, the People>s party and the Farhat Abbas group, the remnants of the popular union, some elected parties, and a group of liberals, but the communists ignored it.

The demands were turned on the algerian statement issued in february 1943, and they fondated a new mouvment named «freinds of statement and freedom».
