People resistors in Algeria have contributed and spread in the province at the national conscience and revolutionary spirit, which represented a continuation of the Algerian regime, and was able to delay the control of French colonialism on the rest of Algeria, and inflict human and economic heavy losses.

However, the inability to stop the occupation and expulsion to achieve independence is the failure of the general objectives, and the reasons for this failure, multiple and interrelated, touched all respects, the internal ones: political such as the lack of national unity and regional nature of popular resistance, the military superiority French army, and social when we suffered the Algerian people before after the beginning of the occupation, and even the external ones: such as the lack of external support and direction of popular passivity resistors, and the role of Jews and Christians to weaken the popular resistors.
