Abstract EN

This research aims at identifying the level of intellectual redundancy and the level of unemployment concern among university students, as well as to identify the significance of differences according to the gender variable in both variables as well as the correlation between them.

In order to verify this, Prepared by (Nolen-Hoeksema, 1987) and the index and rate on the Iraqi environment by (Tamimi 2016), the number of paragraphs in the final version (21) paragraph, and adopted the scale of concern of unemployment prepared by (camels and Bakhit 2008) after adaptation to the Iraqi environment , The number of paragraphs in the final version (30) paragraph, has been confirmed their characteristics The Sekoumtrah was applied instruments on a sample of (140) students, were selected from three colleges in the University of Baghdad is: (College of Arts, College of Education, Ibn Rushd, and the Faculty of Languages), for the academic year 2018-2019 showed Search the following results: 1.

The research sample of university students has a negative intellectual thinking.

There are statistically significant differences between males and females in intellectual thinking and in favor of males.

The research sample of university students is concerned about unemployment.

There are no statistically significant differences between (males and females) in unemployment anxiety.

The results of the statistical analysis showed the existence of a positive correlation between the two variables of current research, intellectual thinking and unemployment concern according to the sample as a whole.
