درجة توافر معايير الجودة في برنامج إعداد معلم التربية الخاصة بكلية التربية الأساسية في دولة الكويت

Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the degree of availability of quality standards for the special education teacher preparation program at College of Basic Education and to find out the relationship between the perspectives of students who enrolled in the special education teacher preparation program at College of Basic Education and their demographics data.

The study sample was composed of 245 participants and was randomly selected.

The study data were collected using a questionnaire which was divided into six areas: program objectives, curriculum, teaching methods, student evaluation, facilities and equipment, field training.

The results showed that the degree of availability of quality standards for the special education teacher preparation program at College of Basic Education reached a medium level.

The study also showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the school year and GPA on the participants perspectives.

The study showed no statistically significant differences among participants’ perspectives according to their gender and minor track.

The study concluded that the special education teacher preparation program at College of Basic Education should be improved to meet the quality standards.
