Abstract EN

The Following research deals with the importance as well as the image of the olive tree and oil in the holy books (the Old Testament, the Iron Covenant and the Koran),through the contents of these books and monitoring the spiritual, religious, cultural and stylistic connotations.

The reaserch also focuses on highlighting the place of oil and olives in Law Consultation (kutob Nawzil), through extrapolating the contents of some issues related to « Zayatrn » and the position of the scholars on issue of the impurity of oil and its use food during the famine days and may be used for lighting in mosques.
