Abstract EN

Muhtasibs’ Treatment of Their Opponents Based on The Qur’nic Teachings: An Objective Study The study contained an introduction defining the Muhtasibs and their opponents; as well as other thee parts.

Part one focused on the need of Muhtasibs to contemplate on the meanings of The Gracious Qura’n.

The second part dealt with six requirements of the Muhtasibs as revealed within The Qura’nic teachings: clear evidence, enlightened vision, piety, self discipline, justice and patience.

The third part focuses on the etiquettes of the Muhtasibs in dealing with their opponents based of the Qura’nic teachings.

They included: having clear evidence, posing polite argument, avoiding concessions at the expanse of the truth, avoiding justifying transgressors’ actions, showing firmness in dealing with hypocrites and exposing the transgressors among the hypocrites and their plots.

The study concluded with three findings and four recommendations.
