The contract of entrepreneurship imposes many obligations on the contractor, the most important of which remain the following; to match the work carried out with the norms established in the contract and the insurance that no defects are neither in the building nor in the materials used in the construction.
Thus, the Algerian legislator has established rules in both the civil and in the planning and urban codes in order (Art 554-570), to oblige the contractor to be guarantor of any defect that may occur after the delivery and for a given period.

Le contrat d’entreprenariat impose des obligations pour l’entrepreneur, toutefois faire correspondre le travail réalisé aux normes établies dans le contrat, et l’assurance qu’il n’y est pas de défauts ni dans la bâtisse ni dans les matériaux utilisés dans la construction, demeurent les deux plus importantes Pour cela le législateur algérien a établi des règles tant dans le code civil que dans le code de l’aménagement et l’urbanisme, afin d’obliger l’entrepreneur à rester garant même après la livraison et pour une période donné de tout défaut pouvant y survenir.
