Abstract EN

This research aims to shed light on the feeding of the hungry to show the importance of social solidarity in Islam and caring for the poor in the Qur’anic Ayat tackling this topic.

It also aims to explore the concept of hunger in changing the qualities humans, and the types of people who deserves to be fed.

The study also presents a call for feeding the hungry and to highlight the worldly and heavenly benefits of doing so.

It concludes that feeding the hungry has a strong relationship with faith; it is not only considered an act of worship, but also the best one, specifically when famine occurs.

It is a virtue provided that we know how, when and who deserves it.
