Abstract EN

This research investigates the source of errors in sect’s opinions, from two points of view: argumentation and religion.

It aims to look at how sects argue for their ideas and opinions and how errors arise and develop in these opinions.

It also aims to investigate the positions of religion on such opinions.

To study these aspects, the researcher uses an amalgamated approach of induction, comparison and deduction.

The most important findings of this study are: firstly, sects massively deviated from the right doctrine and behavior.

Secondly, errors may be a result of wrong reasoning or inaccurate understanding of religion and doctrine.

Thirdly, the study makes clear the superiority of Ahl assunnah-wa-aljama’ah from all other sects invloved in this paper.

The research concludes with some recommendations including: focusing on sects’ doctrine and scientific foundations to see the sources of errors, and tackling them via a well-founded approach, an approach being able to define, overcome and/or reform such errors.
