Abstract EN

This article aims to study the Islamic political system, which has its own properties, and whose main goals have been specified according to the Islamic Sharia.

All this is manifested in its practices and political applications.

There arises therefore a firm partnership between the ruler and the nation, giving the latter the authority to elect or isolate the ruler.

The Islamic system looks at the ruler as an agent whose job is to apply the regime and laws, which is, in turn, performed according to Shura principles, and also via “promoting virtue and preventing vice”, advising him, freedom of expression, etc.

The research concludes with what can make an accurate political system, which, in fact, what the nation needs today, and to connect the past with the present by means of appropriate contemporary methods.
