Abstract EN

The study proposes that the statistical quality Six Sigma should be used for developing Yemeni university administrative performance, according to the DMAIC methodology.

The researcher adopts the survey descriptive approach for its relevance to the nature of the study and its objectives.

It reviews the relevant literature and examines the reality of administrative performance in the Yemeni universities for bridging the gap between actual and expected performance.

The proposal is developed according to the six sigma stages (definition - measurement - analysis - improvement- censorship).

The study concludes that Yemeni universities suffer from a clear decline at the level of administrative performance, due mainly to the absence of modern techniques to develop and insuranize it, the most important of which is the statistical quality six sigma.

The latter is considered one of the modern concepts that achieve outstanding levels of performance.

It reduces the defects to 3.4 per million chances.

It also provides Yemeni universities with a number of features, the most important which are improving and developing administrative performance and to simplify procedures in the operations and insuranize them.
