Abstract EN

The study focused on examining the effect of academic qualifications on intellectual capital for business organizations.

The study problem stemmed from the fact that despite the importance of intellectual capital as a critical source for improving the effectiveness of the business organizations in recent era; but this source is being neglected by most of our local organizations.

The objective of this study is to test whether a relationship exists between employees’ academic qualifications and development of intellectual capital within Sudanese telecommunication companies.

The study adopted the descriptive and analytical method; while using a questionnaire, which had been distributed for a random sample of the employees of MTN; Sudani; and Zain companies.

The study main findings indicated the existence of a positive significant statistical relationship between the academic qualifications of these companies’ employees and their giving more attention for developing and attracting intellectual capital.

The study main recommendations call for the encouragement of valuation of intellectual capital for Sudanese companies; as well as the consideration of ethical dimensions when thinking about attracting the intellectual capital between competing companies.
