Abstract EN

The goal of this study is to examine the effectiveness of tax policy in achieving the social objectives established within the policy of the promotion of families In Algeria and the achievement of the goals of social development.

Where these social policies face the problem of tax pressure applied to individuals and families, we present the most important indicators of social development, we also measured and calculated the tax pressure applied to households and its impact on their wellbeing.

The study concluded that households pay one-third of their income in various taxes and duties on consumption
