Abstract EN

This article deals with evaluating the Travel and Tourism sector competitiveness in Maghreb countries (Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco), through the ranking of those countries in the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) editing from the World Economic Forum.

(WEF) ,This study applied the comparative statistical method, based on data from the World Tourism Organization (WTO) and the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Finally, this study found that the delayed interest in tourism in Algeria had a negative impact on the performance of tourism indicators; Where Algeria is severing from weakness in all indicators of tourism competitiveness.

This is reflected in its competitive ranking compared to the rest of the Maghreb countries.
