The research focuses on the role of governance in providing an attractive environment for investment in the Arab Republic of Egypt in order to promote the Egyptian economy and to follow the experiences of the economically developed countries, which have provided a supportive environment for the economy, as well as its role in attracting investments, enhancing the role of governance, disclosure and transparency.

Corporate governance is one of the most important factors influencing attracting foreign investment and restoring investor confidence, although it still faces some difficulties by some listed companies.

The researcher is exposed to the new investment law which aims to improve the legal regulation of the investment environment in the Arab Republic of Egypt by unifying the institutions operating in the field of investment to work Under the umbrella of one called the Investment Authority, as well as facilitating the necessary procedures for the establishment of investment projects through a single investment window, and the development of the mechanism of granting customs and tax exemptions and the adoption of criteria to grant additional incentives for investment.

The study concludes with a set of recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the governance system in order to ensure an attractive environment for investment on the one hand and guarantee the rights of all parties concerned on the other hand
