Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to study and analyze the experience of venture capital in Algeria as a young experience that has emerged in practice within the Law 90/10 of 14/4/1990 on cash and loan.

With the beginning of the third millennium, it was supported by an orderly legislative framework for this activity, which led to a remarkable increase in investments in venture capital and the expansion of the activity of its companies geographically.

To achieve the desired, the study was divided into four axes, the first axis focused on the theoretical framework of venture capital, the second axis reviewed the mechanisms of working venture capital, while the third axis dealt with the capital risk and Islamic banking.

The fourth axis was devoted to study the development of venture capital in Algeria.

The study concluded that: - The experience of venture capital in Algeria is a modern experience.

- All the conditions of Islamic finance are available in venture capital, this leads to attracting a large segment of the Algerian society to this type of investment and financing, especially in the light of the state's encouragement of Islamic finance in the recent years.

-There is a marked rise in investments of this type of funding.

-Despite the advantages mentioned, it still suffers from many problems ...

from the legislative aspect and the incentives provided by the state.
