Abstract EN

The Informatics technology and the computer science had a great influence on the University libraires Works and services, from this point the roles of the Informatics spécialiste had totally changed.

However the informatics spécialiste has to deal with all difficulties which he can face in his career, so in our présent thesis we studied: the informatics spécialiste in University libraries and the process of Computing: the expected roles and functions:a cese a study At the Teachers High School Library of the University of Constantine 3.in our study we adopted the case study method bug.study contains two chapters: the theatrical chapter and the practical chapter.

For the First chapter data was gathered from some secondary sources which talk about the roles of the informatics specialist, the practical chapter we gathered the data from some primary sources such as: the analysis the our results, the interview and some notices.

Our population was all the library workers (19 workers).

The results were: the informatics specialist roles had changed before and after the invention of the computer.
