Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the emotional intelligence and its relationship with the ability to solve problems among school principals' at Rusaifa Directorate of Education from the viewpoint of their teachers.

The study sample was (500) teachers.

The descriptive approach was used.

The questionnaire was used as a tool to achieve the goal of this study, emotional intelligence questionnaire, and the ability to solve problems quastionnaire.

The study found that the emotional intelligence level among school principals as perceived by their teachers and the ability to solve problems among school principals were medium.

There was an existence of a positive correlation between the emotional intelligence levels and the ability of solving problems among school principals as perceived by their teachers.

Based on the findings, the study recommended the need to train teachers and school principals on emotional intelligence to develop their problem solving skills
