Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the patterns of professional personality among the students of the tenth grade in Ma'an Govemorate.

The descriptive predictive method was used through die data and information collection tool (Holland scale of professional intelligence).

The sample of die study consisted of (765) male and female students.

The psychometric characteristics of the study instrument were determined by applying it to a sample of (35) students.

Then die instrument was applied to die sample of die original study.

The results of die study showed that die six types of professional personality' (real, mental, artistic, social, adventurous, traditional) were found in the study sample.

The results also showed statistically significant differences in personality patterns according to the gender variable.

In diis regal’d, die male sample was found to be more inclined to die professional personality' patterns (real, social, adventurous, traditional), whereas females tended to be more personal (artistic and realistic).

As well, die results showed diat die patterns of professional personality' combined accounted for (31.5%) of die variation in student achievement, and the types of occupational personality (mental, social, and adventurous) have an impact on academic achievement.

In die light of diese results, the study came out with a set of recommendations.
