Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the perceptions of university faculty members 011 how to deal with the challenges of knowledge and cognitive growththrougli applying a questionnaire on a sample consisted of (230) faculty members at Al-Qassim University in Saudi Arabia.

The questionnaire consisted of (34) items distributed on four domains: die administration challenges domain, die academic challenges domain, die financial challenges domain and the social challenges domain.

The analyzed results revealed diat die degree of challenges at all domains and with dieir items were high.

The results also showed that diere were not any significant differences diat could be attributed to die academic rank or years of experience.

On die odier hand, die results indicated statistically significant differences due to die college, in favor of the scientific colleges.
