It is so strange that a professional praise poet like Al-Mutannaby praises Ali bin Mansoorul-Hajib to be rewarded by only one Dinar while he was rewarded thousands of gold Dinars for a poem praising Saifud-Dawla.

What is the secret of this poem? And was the single Dinar equal to the artistic and literary value or was it equal to the praising values of the poem ? Or were they mere praising values ?.
