The paper presents the intrinsic relationship between traditional architecture and historical religious texts also highlights its role in determining the shape and characteristics of architectural space.
Therefore, the study highlights the role of Quranic texts in identifying landmarks and architecture of the traditional housing of the city through architectural solutions that ensure the realization of the Islamic principle of privacy.
The paper focuses on the Quranic text containing the traditional dwelling and accurately deduce architectural concepts closer and it is also based on the analytical study of the status of the traditional dwelling in the Medina of Constantine to the period before French colonization.

La recherche présente la relation intrinsèque entre l'architecture traditionnelle et les textes religieux historiques qui met également en évidence son rôle dans la détermination de la forme et les caractéristiques de l'espace architectural avec précision.
Par conséquent, l'étude met en évidence le rôle des textes coraniques dans la détermination des points de repère de la ville et l'architecture de l'habitation traditionnelle grâce à des solutions architecturales qui assurent le principe islamique de la vie privée.
La recherche se concentre sur le texte coranique contenant l'habitation traditionnelle et déduire avec précision les concepts architecturaux rapprocher et il repose également sur l'étude analytique de l'état de l'habitation traditionnelle dans la Medina de Constantine à la période avant la colonisation française.
