This study examines the right to maternity vacation for women working in the public and private sectors.

It has been shown that if women are defined as pregnant, they must follow the legal procedures to benefit from their right to stop work, which is estimated to be at least 14 weeks and after the situation.

The French legislator has already recognized this right and regulated its provisions, the right to maternity vacant entitles women to legal protection; they are not dismissed or summoned to work, nor do they give up their right to vacation.

However, the procedures followed by the Social Security Commission are complex and costly procedures, in particular that not all women have a single degree of legal culture, and ways to obtain their right to compensation In cash and in kind.
