This paper discusses the possibilities of activating the Maghreb economic integration as a necessity to face the challenges facing the Arab Maghreb countries and keeping pace with the era of regional blocs, and stand on the reality of the Maghreb economic integration, It shows that this bloc suffers a number of obstacles that have a great impact on its freezing.

This requires coordination of efforts to re-establish it for several consideration, The most important are the economic, social and security challenges as well as the challenges of the international environment facing the Maghreb countries.
