Abstract EN

Muslims lived in Al-Andalus about eight centuries some of which were replete with many political and religious conflicts while others were characterized with stability and religious forgiveness.

Some biased writers used some texts in Al-Andalus history in order to deform the picture of Muslims and the peaceful co-existence that prevailed during those centuries.

It is not reasonable to consider the events of those centuries as whole conflicts otherwise how would we justify the occurrence of the Islamic civilization in Al-Andalus with the testimony of the Orientalists majored in Muslim civilization in AlAndalus.

This paper refutes the fabrications that try to belittle Muslims and slander their history during the Andalusian era and also to study these texts and examine the conditions that led to some transcendings especially demolishing some churches or the trials of princes to limit exposing some religious rites contradicting with Islamic thought.

Thus, there was a panorama of the most important events that christens lived under the Umayyad State where they enjoyed their religious rights with pacts on the one hand, and with their interest in living with Muslims in sharing the country and taking positions and privileges in the state.

Thus, some of them occupied high positions in the state while there were clergymen who did not accept others and kept slandering Islam publicly in addition to their support of rebels and creating chaos in the country.
