There has been a growing interest in the concept of Sustainable development around the world, as it aims to achieve economic prosperity and social justice, which require influencing individuals' attitudes and behaviors in order to achieve the goals of organizations, individuals and the society as a whole.

This paper aims to present a definition of social marketing, as well as highlighting its role in achieving sustainable development, the study concluded that social marketing is effective in achieving the social dimension of sustainable development, as it mainly focuses on promoting society's well-being, by understanding and responding to the public's needs to solve problems and providing the right product.
