Abstract EN

This study deals with the economic impact of the Travel and Tourism sector in Maghreb countries (Algeria.Tunisia and Morroco), it concentrated in showing the economic importance of tourism sector through its direct and indirect impact which result from tourism on economy of those countries , basically in balance of payment (tourist balance ),the Gross Domestic Product ,and the Employment.

The study used the comparative statistical method for a number of years, based on data from the World Tourism Organization (WTO), World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) reports, World Bank database and statistics of tourism ministries and related agencies in the Maghreb countries.
