A large number of ancient and modern poets are known for their revolutionary tendencies.

Many critical works discussed their poems and explored their political background.

Muzaffar al-Nawab (1934- 2017), is one of those poets who defendedArabs and Arabism, haunted by thoughts of revolution and resistance both in terms of his native country of Iraq, or the Arab world at large.

The approach adopted in this research is to probe into the poetic text as a linguistic construct that can be understood from within, pushing the entire political scene into the background of analysis to be used when needed.

The research includes the following sections: - Image in the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab - Inspiration of events and personalities in heritage in the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab - Intertextuality with the inherited to produce new significance in the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab - Symbols in the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab - Diction in the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab - Stylistic features the poetry of Muzaffar al-Nawab In addition to a number of sections, which represent a theoretical framework for research, including: - Introduction to revolutionary literature - Relationship between poetry and revolutionary principles - Mystery in revolutionary literature - Prose in revolutionary literature
