Abstract EN

Solecism has a number of meanings, including what the grammarians describe as a violation of the ways Arabs pronounce words, or as Ibn Faris says: "The tendency to speak incorrectly in Arabic" which is the main concern of this research.

As given in the Holy Quran, "but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech" (Al-Hilali and Khan, 9111, Muhammad, 03).

Thus, Prophet Muhammad knew the hypocrites from their lahn or deviation from linguistic norms of pronunciation of words.

Specialists have sounded the alarm for many years, warning of this imminent danger, but the phenomenon of Solecism increased among intellectuals, especially broadcasters and writers, as well as students of Arabic language.

This research is an attempt to study this phenomenon in a scientific manner, identify its causes, identify its most important manifestations, and propose practical solutions for it.

This study answers the following questions: 9- What is solecism? 2- What are the most noticeable features of solecism in the past? And how the ancients fought solecism? 0- What are the most noticeable manifestations of solecism in modern times? And what are the reasons of solecism today? 4- What are the implications of solecism? And what are the most effective ways to reduce solecism?
