Writing a biography is an attempt to know the truth about a remarkable person, revealing his secrets, talents, and genius through a discussion of circumstances of his life, events he has been through in his society and his impact on his generation.

A biography is not merely an account of incidents and facts no matter how precise and detailed it might be; it is an evocation of the general atmosphere surrounding its hero, and a description of his role in it, taking into account good authorship and presentation.

This research is an attempt to study paratext in al-ʻAqqād's Abqarīyat Muḥammad (The Genius of Mohammed) to: 1.
