Abstract EN

This paper provides some principles of the critic's self-efficacy in the evaluation of the literary text and its technical aspects.

The Arabic poem in our modern era has undergone a remarkable change in form and content, putting both the poet and the critic in a precarious position.

The former has gone too far in foreignness and the latter has gone too far to prove critical proficiency.

Critical taste is acquired by practice and training, and this requires gentle reading process to identify the parameters of the special linguistic entity of the text from the phonemic correlation, word function, and sentence structure.

In the modern poem and the concrete poem, space and silence have their roles in the work.

Accordingly, the analysis of the text should depend on the elements of the text rather than on subjectivity, doctrine, ideology or culture.

This paper presents three issues: 1) Reading the language: The paper presents a vision of critical competence of identification of semantic relations, cohesion, and sentence type.

2) The context and the reception process: Different reception trends necessarily lead to different aspects of the analysis.

3) Rhythm It explores the poet's mechanisms of rhythm and rhyme, reversal of order and manipulation of syllables, repetition of specific sounds, the rhyme scheme, places of articulation and aspects of imitation and innovation at all levels.

Finally, there is a broad analysis of samples from traditional and contemporary poetry.
