This study aimed at investigating the obstacles that impede international tourism in Sudan.
Sudan is one of the countries that possess high touristic prerequisites, however these touristic prerequisites are not properly employed due to economical, political and security circumstances the country undergoes.
This study used several tools to collect data represented in a questionnaire and interview.
In this regard, the researcher designed three types of questionnaires; the first questionnaire targeted tourists, the second one surveyed the responses of workers and those interested in the field >jla£uiil jti dJ^JI iuLJI Ciligcd of tourism and the last one focused on the owners of tourist residential services.
The study found an array of economical, political and natural barriers, the most important of these is degradation of infrastructure.
This declined infrastructure of Sudan impacted and weakened the flow of international tourism in the country.
In response, this study recommended these infrastructures to be.
It also recommended more developedatten-tion and interest to be paid to the infrastructure, planning and marketing.
