Abstract EN
The main aim of this paper is to discuss children's novel in various ways and to trace the changes that have taken place in children's novel since its emergence.
The novel is one of the most interesting types of literature for children.
It is characterized by pleasure and suspense.
It is an outlet for children's unbridled imagination and a trainer for their minds, emotions and passions, directing their thinking processes and trends, giving rein to their talents and abilities, and liberating them from the constraints of time and space.
Oral narratives emerged before writing and were known as primary oral narration.
There is another type of oral narration (secondary) associated with writing, which appears in our time in radio, television, computer or cell phone where the story is presented in its oral form via technology.
Thanks to printing, the written novel appeared and developed.
In writing, the author's ideas are transformed into written words that we read with our eyes and visualize with our minds.
Then the electronic novel emerged and incorporated fiction with multimedia, which led to radical changes in human culture.
In the interactive novel, the reader chooses where to go next in the novel, and thus exceeds the linear reading to unleash his imagination and interact with the events without monotony or boredom, and sets the end of his story without interference in a manner of intellectual creativity.
Thus, literature is similar throughout ages and what differs is its medium.
In the past, it was presented through the narrator's voice and intonation.
Then the word became the means of narration.
In the digital age, the computer became the means of narration and soon it developed into interactive literature.
