Non-quantitative models are translation assessment approaches that aim at a qualitative assessment of translations, focusing on the text and its target audience, as well as the objectives of the translations and the cultural elements that should be kept during the transfer from one language into another.
In other words, the assessment is purely qualitative and not quantitative.

Les modèles non quantitatifs sont des approches d'évaluation de traduction qui visent une évaluation qualitative des traductions en mettant l'accent sur le texte et son public cible ainsi que les objectifs de la traduction et les éléments culturels à respecter lors du transfert d'une langue en une autre.
Autrement dit, l'évaluation est d'une nature purement qualitative et pas quantitative.
