Abstract EN

This research aims to examine levels of critical thinking among the students of the faculty of Education who assimilate (510) students.

Those students represent the four studying levels.

To achieve the main goal for this research, the research used California measurement 2000 after examining its sycometric characteristics.

The results of the research show that the degree of critical thinking among members of the sample of the study is below the acceptable average.

This average can be determined by the level (80%).

The results of the research also reveals a difference in the level of critical thinking according to sex for the benefit of females.

Besides there were differences according to the level of the study for the benefit of first and second year students.

The results also approved that there was a positive relation among the average of general school certificate and the level of critical thinking in the accumulative average on the other hand.

There is also a relation between skills of critical thinking in the skills of deduction and evaluation.
