English Abstract

The study addressed a very important topic in being one of the most important studies in the field of public employment, which is the principle of equal appointment in public positions, and how this principle was enshrined in the various constitutional and legal texts organizing the public job.

The study aimed to achieve many goals, the most important of which is clarifying the concept of equality and its image, and distinguishing it from other other terms, in addition to defining the constitutional and legal foundations on which the principle of equality in assuming public functions and clarifying the conditions set by the Iraqi legislator are in support of the principle of equality, or It constitutes a kind of restriction on it, as well as explaining the guarantees provided by Iraqi legislation for the principle of equality and comparative legislation and explaining the implications of the principle of equality in assuming public office.
