Abstract EN

This article sheds light on a part of the material heritage, which is famous and important for the oued-noun region situated in the north of Sahara ; including the rock heritage whose importance and richness were revealed by the field archeological researches.

There are rock carvings in several locations such as: the location of the Adrar Nzerzm near Taghjijt, Oued Koor AlFayyad in the out skirts of Zag...).Besides, the tombs and the different features of the funerary architecture are material sources contributing to the history of the region.

A spanish-Moroccan archeological research team discovered more than 270 pre historic sites in addition to medieval cities such as Noul Lamia and Tagaousl.
