This study aims to highlight the exponential development Artificial Intelligence (AI) is witnessing in the 21st century.

Today, AI is not limited to one field, but has penetrated almost every human activity and practice, from medicine and education, to politics and the military.

Our lives have become greatly dependent on it.

We chat with our friends and relatives on Facebook; follow US President Donald Trump’s controversial statements on Twitter; watch the latest movies on Netflix; and see interesting and educational videos on YouTube.

They all depend on Artificial Intelligence.

This has all become possible thanks to significant developments in big data technology and the proliferation of social media platforms.

In this context, many people fear that control has started to slowly move to machines and artificial intelligence-based applications, which can direct humans and their decisions, as the role of humans becomes marginal and useless.

However, others believe this scenario is impossible because AI is only able to learn from a small quantity of data, and learning like humans is still unlikely.

However, Artificial Intelligence will certainly play a key role in improving and changing human lives in the decades to come, and will be the main area of competition between countries and companies.

This poses a challenge for our communities - how can we avoid the future misuse of Artificial Intelligence?
