Abstract EN

The United Nations Security Council issued several decisions against Iraq in the seventh article of pact of the United Nations since the invasion of the Iraqi forces to the lands of Kuwait on the 2nd of August 1990 , and one of the most important decisions is the decision of (986) which was dated on 14 April 1995 to ensure the provision of humanitarian needs of the Iraqi people including the medicines , the health supplies and the materials nutrition Which was known as the "Oil-for-Food" decision ,which continued until the end of 2003, although it helped to improve the social and the economic conditions to a certain extent , but later , it was proved to be a major failure to achieve the basic objective which aimed to raise the suffering of the Iraqi people fully.
