This study aims from an empirical point of view to estimate import demand function in Sudan for period (1998- 2017.
The study adopted descriptive method as well as econometric model to determine important factors that effect to level of import demand in addition to identify variable relationship form.
The obtained results showed that the national income and relative price impact positively on import level, the impact of exchange rate is relatively less than other variables.
Meanwhiles the logarithmic is relevant form to show the relationship between dependent variable and explanatory variables.
