Abstract EN
This study was designed to examine Dickens' use of satire in his writing style through his Novel "Oliver Twist” .
It examines the author's techniques and effectiveness of the style.
The researcher used the conceptual approach to analyze authors' writing style through diction, narrative voice, images.
The results of analysis shows that Dicken‟s novel Oliver Twist is highly satirical as he uses a lot of really sharp irony-to satirize the various institutions( the parish workhouse system, the justice system, the poor laws, etc) that he thought inhumane and unjust.
